Triton College Annual Fall Family Fun Fest - Reimagined
Triton College invited families to attend the annual Fall Family Fun Fest Saturday, Sept. 26. Instead of strolling through the Botanical Gardens, this year visitors drove through the R Building parking lot on the east side of campus to receive a free Fall Family Fun Kit, including a pumpkin and more.
“The changes to the Fall Family Fun Fest were made with families’ safety in mind, but despite adjustments, we were still able to celebrate the beginning of the fall season with the community,” said Audrey Jonas, director, Public Affairs and Community Relations.
Hundreds of families from the Triton district community came to the modified drive-through event and received a pumpkin to decorate or carve along with an activity kit. About 450 free pumpkins were distributed to guests.
“We created the kits so families can recreate some of the excitement of the fall season together at home,” said Jonas.
The Annual Fall Family Fun Fest was free and open to the public.
