Student clubs and organizations open to new members
Triton College student clubs and organizations are recruiting new members for the spring semester. The Office of Student Life hosts 22 different clubs and organizations providing students educational support, career resources and socializing opportunities.
“We want students to be active in campus clubs and organizations to get the most out of the community college experience,” said Adilene Villalpando, Student Life program assistant. “Obviously this year is a little different with no or limited in-person events, but the groups are still meeting online and providing the same access to information and resources.”
“Many of the groups provide students the opportunity to socialize outside of class with other students that have common goals and professional aspirations. By joining a club or organization, students can develop leadership skills, learn about scholarship and career opportunities, and make new friends,” Villalpando said.
Students also have an opportunity to start a new group if their interests lie outside of the existing clubs and organizations. Any Triton student interested in joining a club or organization should visit https://www.triton.edu/students/student-life/.
