"Virtual Days" online admissions sessions for students
Current and prospective students are invited to attend “Virtual Days,” online virtual admissions sessions. The sessions will include information about the application process and financial aid options here at Triton College. It is also an opportunity to learn about academic programs and student services available to students.
“By attending the online sessions both incoming and current students can get valuable insight on starting or continuing their academic journey at Triton. Students will also have opportunities to get their specific questions answered,” Dan Lamoureux, assistant director of admissions said.
Attendees will get information on how to prepare their application, learn general admission requirements, and how to submit requested documents such as transcripts and official test scores. There will also be a discussion on placement testing. Financial aid topics such as how to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), how to find scholarships, and other helpful information about tuition payment options will be covered.
While the summer semester continues entirely online, interested applicants can take a virtual tour of campus by visiting https://www.youvisit.com/tour/triton. Currently, there are a few different learning options planned for fall semester courses including:
- Online or Hybrid – classes developed and approved for online or hybrid instruction.
- Extended Remote Learning (ERL) – a virtual classroom with scheduled meeting time(s) each week.
- Blended ERL – classes take place virtually (scheduled weekly meeting times) and required on-campus instruction as arranged by the instructor.
- Traditional In-Person – classes meet on campus at scheduled meeting time(s) each week (very limited offerings).
