2019 Educate to Liberate: Youth Social Justice Conference

Calling all area middle schoolers, high schoolers, and community members! Be empowered during this full day dedicated to learning and connecting around social justice.

This one-day conference will feature community builders, expert speakers, group panel discussions, and engaging activities, all happening throughout the Main Library, including: 

The Educate to Liberate conference goals are to:

  • Create space for youth to critically explore social justice topics
  • Inspire youth to use knowledge and skills to take action in their community, and the world
  • Equip youth with the necessary tools to address social justice issues
  • Connect youth to community builders and peers to establish networks for leading ongoing efforts for community and global transformation
