#DecktheMounds to Once Again Support Triton Students this Holiday Season

The holiday season is right around the corner, and you’re invited to get in the spirit with Triton College while supporting scholarships for our hard working students.

Triton’s #DecktheMounds Festival of Trees has become one of the most anticipated holiday events of the season for members of our communities, and we are excited to once again turn our campus into a winter wonderland.

The Festival of Trees returns Thursday, Dec. 6, 5-7 p.m., on the Triton College Mounds located on the west side of campus.

Here’s how you can get in on the fun:

1. Sponsor a tree (we’ll provide the lights) on Triton's campus as an individual or on behalf of a village, town, school, business or organization. Each lighted tree is $150 with proceeds to benefit student scholarships through the Triton College Foundation.

2. Come decorate your tree on campus, at your convenience, anytime between Nov. 29 – Dec. 6 (all trees must be decorated by 5 p.m. on the Dec. 6)

3. Join us for the big event. Enjoy complimentary hot chocolate, cookies, holiday music and seasonal photos with our mascot Troy. Also, take in a free holiday movie in our cafeteria during the event. The purchase of a tree is not necessary to attend the event. Be sure to share your photos with us using the hashtag #DeckTheMounds.
