American Rescue Package
The American Rescue Package allows the distribution of approximately $9 million directly to students. We currently have $4.9 million remaining. Students who are registered for at least one class in the Spring 2022 semester may apply for funds from the American Rescue Package. Students must be pursuing a certificate or degree and be in compliance with the State of IL vaccination or test mandate. Applications are available on the student portal starting now. Dual credit students are not eligible. Students may receive up to $1500. Money may be used for any component of the cost of attending Triton College such as tuition, fees, books, or for emergency costs caused by the coronavirus such as food, housing, physical and mental healthcare, and childcare. These dollars do not need to be paid back. Students who applied in the fall may reapply in the spring.
