Everybody, regardless of vaccination status, is required to wear a mask/face covering on campus when indoors. Thank you for helping to keep our campus safe!

In response to the State of Illinois Executive Order 2021-20, all higher education students and staff must have proof of full vaccination or undergo weekly testing. Here are some FAQs to support you in meeting this requirement. If you have other questions, please email covid19@triton.edu.

Q. When do I need to get vaccinated by?
As required by the State of Illinois Executive Order 2021-20, individuals who are fully vaccinated do not need to undergo weekly testing. An individual is “fully vaccinated” against COVID-19 two weeks after receiving the second dose in a two-dose series of a vaccine, or two weeks after receiving a single dose vaccine.

If you do not provide proof of full vaccination, you must be tested for COVID-19 once a week. Students who are not vaccinated and do not undergo weekly testing are not permitted on campus beginning November 1.

Q. How do I provide proof of my vaccination?

Q. Can I take the weekly test somewhere other than Triton?
You can choose to have weekly testing anywhere, off or on campus, but you will need to upload the results of your weekly testing to the Cleared4 platform each week.

Q. Do I have to take the weekly test before coming to work?
No. You can take your weekly test at any time during the week.

Q. Where can I get vaccinated?
Vaccinations are available at area pharmacies and other community clinic sites. You can find a vaccine location near you at this website:  https://www.vaccines.gov/search/.

Q. What if I am unable to be vaccinated?
Anyone unable to be vaccinated is still required to undergo weekly testing.

Q. What should I do if I test positive for COVID-19?
Students should immediately contact the Director of Health Services, Laura Hill, at laurahill@triton.edu. Staff will reach out to you to provide academic support as you remain off-campus.

Q. Are we required to use Cleared4 every day?
Yes, the “Cleared4: Daily symptom checker” is required for all students each day they are on campus.

Q. What if I don’t want to provide proof of vaccination?
Anyone who does not provide proof of vaccination is still required undergo weekly testing.
