Triton College is a fully accredited two-year college located in River Grove, Illinois, a western suburb of Chicago. The college is located in a peaceful residential community, yet offers easy access to the outstanding resources of the third largest city in the United States.

International Student Application
International Student Admission Process
Triton College offers flexible scheduling with day, night, and weekend offerings. Many courses are offered online or as flex-start courses that meet for seven weeks or less. International students may combine a variety of scheduling options, but may only take one online course per semester to fulfill full-time enrollment requirements. With an average class size of 20.5 students, you will definitely get to know your classmates and professors.

- Submit official transcripts
- Verify language proficiency
Registration
Registration takes place in the Student Center building between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday.

International Student Requirements
International students also are required to take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), and attain a the following:
- Score of 500 on the examination
- Score of at least 50 in each category on the written TOEFL
- Score of 173 and at least 16 to 18 in each category on the computerized TOEFL minimum score of 61 on the Internet-based exam with a 15 in each category.
International students must enroll in a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester, and must complete their degree objectives within six semesters. International students pay the out-of-state tuition rate. Financial assistance is not available for international students.
The records evaluator will issue an Immigration Form 20 (I-20) after the student has submitted all required documents and the college has accepted the student's application.
Other non-native students, whether holding diplomatic, visitor, or other non-immigrant visas, must pay out-of-state tuition rates.

International students wishing to study at Triton College must have a minimum of $22,500 (Twenty Two Thousand Five Hundred United States Dollars) available to them for tuition and living expenses for each academic year.
Additional funds will be required for students planning to enroll in the summer term.
For the 2021-2022 school year and Summer 2022 the tuition for students on a Foreign Student Visa (F-1) is assessed at a rate of $450.00* per credit hour. The tuition for students on a Foreign Student Visa (F-1) in a Select Health Career Program is assessed at a rate of $467.00* per credit hour.
All international students are required to register for and successfully complete at least 12 (twelve) credit hours per semester, and also complete their degree objectives within six semesters.
*All fees are subject to revision by the Triton College Board of Trustees without prior notice.
