Youth Programs

The youth programs at Triton College are designed to introduce children and teens to various educational and recreational activities within the collegiate environment of Triton. With fun youth programs, convenient schedules for parents, and great locations, don’t miss out on these great opportunities! Additionally, the School of Continuing Education offers a number of fun and educational summer camps for children between the ages of seven and fifteen. Some of our offerings include subjects related to computer programming, robotics and cooking.

Children’s Music Lessons

Introduce your child to the joy and excitement of music. This program provides one-on-one instruction with a music instructor in Piano and Violin.  Students meet with instructors for a 25 minute lesson once a week for thirteen weeks during the student’s selected time slot. Age eligibility is listed for each course. All skill levels are welcomed.

Animal Knowledge

Step inside the world of animals. Learn about various types of mammals, their anatomy and habitat. Obtain new knowledge that may lead you to findings you have not discovered yet.

Early Financial Smarts

Introduce to your young adult to a foundation for becoming a responsible self-money manager. In this course, students will learn budgeting, basic savings strategies, wants versus needs, taxes and the factors for having a good credit history.

Halloween Mask Creators

Come and design your own fun, creative Halloween Masks. Start with a blank canvas, then cut out openings for your eyes, nose and mouth (or not). Next let your imagination takeover. This is a course that parents can enjoy with their children.

Last Minute Halloween Costumes

Don’t spend a ton of money on a Halloween costume this year. Cardboard, tape, sheets, gloves, an old dusty hat and scarves are probably in your home somewhere. Repurpose these materials and anything else you can think of to make your own Halloween costume.

Pumpkin Glam and Glitter

Avoid the mess and sharp tools when carving a pumpkin. Draw, paint and bedazzle a pumpkin for this Halloween! Parents must accompany children between the ages of two and six years old during class.

Children's Swim Lessons

Learn to swim! This course, taught by qualified Red Cross water safety instructors, is open to any youngster who can stand in three feet of water. Classes are divided into groups according to ability.

Triton Facts Payment Information

Make college more affordable by paying for tuition and fees over time. Tuition payment plans break down your tuition balance into affordable monthly payments. There’s no interest, payment options are flexible, setup fees are affordable, and it’s easy to enroll!

To enroll into the FACTS payment plan, please follow the steps below.

Step 1. Request a MyTriton Portal user name and password for your child.

    Compose an email to webadvisor@triton.edu requesting a MyTriton Portal user name and password  for your child.
    In the email, please provide your child’s first and last name, date of birth, last four digits of their social security number, and a preferred email address to contact.

Step 2. Click HERE to enroll in the FACTS payment plan.
