I and You (Theatre Performance)

The premise of the play is about a high school basketball player named Anthony who wants his classmate, Caroline, to help him complete his English assignment on Walt Whitman’s Leaves of Grass. Caroline, however, hasn’t been to school in months due to her failing liver. Caroline is angry and short-tempered since her illness has kept her sheltered from the world.

As the two of them work together, they slowly begin to confide in each other about their dreams and fears, as well as private grief.
