Current Active Clubs

The Office of Student Life offers a variety of academic, social, special interest, cultural and religious clubs. These clubs are a way for you to meet fellow students and explore your interests. With so many options, you’re bound to find a club that’s right for you.

Active participation in organizations provides opportunities for the development of leadership skills, social interaction and the opportunity to demonstrate creativity and responsibility, all while having lots of fun too.

The Office of Student Life recognizes all student organizations and maintains descriptions of each organization along with contact information. The Office of Student Life also offers numerous services to student organizations through publications, workshops, one-on-one consultation and event planning support. We take great pride in our work to support the educational mission of the college with the opportunities that are offered through the diverse organizations we support.

Minimum Requirements for Club or Organization Membership:
   • Minimum 2.0 GPA
   • Currently Enrolled in at least 3 Credit Hours

Accounting Club
Membership in the Triton Accounting Club is open to all Triton Students who have an interest in learning more about the profession of accounting and field of business. Our meetings assist our members with employment skills such as resume writing, interview skills and internship opportunities. The members participate in field trips to accounting and auditing departments of different types of businesses and fun activities.

Bible Club
The mission of the Bible Club is to explore the lessons and non-denominational interpretations of the Bible.

Chemistry Club
The (ACS) local chapter at Triton College is a student governed, faculty advised, group with common interest in chemistry and related fields.

Chess Club
We advocate and teach strategic chess moves and welcome anyone with an appreciation for the game of any skill level.

Computer Club
Share knowledge and resources related to computer networking, mobile devices, and security.

Criminal Justice Club
We promote academic excellence by providing networking opportunities to increase community relations and increase involvement in campus life.

Gaming Club
We foster a gaming community within the student population and expose students to new interactive concepts that give students the chance to develop strategic skills, critical thinking and teamwork through video and card games.

Triton Gay Straight Alliance (T.G.S.A)
This is a safe space for Triton students no matter their gender, gender identity or sexual orientation. We bring awareness to the campus about social issues in the LGBT community.

Latino/a Action Student Organization (L.A.S.O.)
We strive to be a resource for students and create activities that fall under the four pillars of:
1. Cultural Identity
2. Education Equity
3. Civic Engagement
4. Undocumented Student Alliance

Math Team
We strive to be better skilled at using mathematical problem-solving techniques and compete in the American Math Association of Two-Year Colleges’ Student Math League (SML).

We aim to promote matriculation of students in professional degree programs by mentoring and providing resources to assist them in understanding the admissions process and clinical practice.

Veterans Club
We provide support and services to veterans and their family members by giving them information about their benefits.
