    Northlake Community Continuing Student Scholarship

    SCHOLARSHIP AMOUNT:
    $500 for tuition, fees and books

    BACKGROUND:
    Created in 1997, this scholarship was awarded for the first time during a “Salute to Northlake” event held on February 12th of that year. This award – along with the Northlake Community High School Scholarship – was authorized by the City Council of Northlake through a formal resolution recognizing Triton College as the “finest institution in the surrounding area . . . (making) vital contributions to the area by providing an outstanding education to students”.

    REQUIREMENTS: 

    • Applicant must be residents of the city of Northlake
    • Full-time or part-time student degree-seeking student
    • G.P.A. of 2.5 or above
    • Applicants must have completed at least 12 credit hours at Triton College
